C'est parti pour une 2e série de photos dublinoises ! Je pensais faire ce billet un peu plus tôt mais j'ai au final mal évolué l'ampleur la tâche.
Here we go : another set of Dublin pictures ! I thought I would post this earlier but there were much work than I expected.

Dublin : Day 2 (part 1)

8h00 tapantes : le réveil sonne, on est au taquet. Ashfield House (notre auberge de jeunesse pour ceux qui n'auraient pas suivi) est à 2mn à pieds de Trinity College, c'est donc par là qu'on commence, le plus tôt possible pour éviter les autres touristes.
8 o'clock shark : the alarm clock rings, we are ready to walk the city. Ashfield House (our hostel for those who did not read the first Dublin post) is at a 2mn walk away from Trinity, that's were we start, as soon as possible so we can avoid the other tourists.

Camille a insisté pour que je prenne ce truc en photo mais on n'a aucune idée de ce que c'était.
Camille insisted on my shooting this thing but we have no clue of it actually is.

Le campus est très agréable, ça change de Bordeaux III ! Apparemment, les cours avaient déjà repris, on a dérangé quelques étudiants en retard qui se pressaient pour arriver en cours.
The campus is very nice, very different Bordeaux III's ! It seemed that school had started again, we disturbed some late students speeding off to classes.

Drame à l'église St Andrew : Camille s'est explosé l'orteil. Mes pansements Winnie lui sauvent la vie.

Il y avait vraiment beaucoup d'oiseaux en tous genre, je me suis forcée à rester un moment pour les prendre en photo. Pour ceux qui l'ignorent, j'ai une peur affreuse de tous les trucs qui volent donc ça a été une véritable épreuve, j'étais vraiment mal à l'aise mais je progresse, je ne me suis pas enfuie en courant.

There were a lot of birds of any kind, I forced myself to stop by et take pictures of them. For those who don't know, I am really afraid of anything able to fly so it was hard, I was feeling so uncomfortable but I'm getting better : I didn't run away.

Je vous l'avais annoncé, on reprend les posts de looks dès aujourd'hui !
Ce short a été un de mes derniers achats pendant les soldes d'été. Je n'étais pas trop sûre de moi : la taille haute, c'est très beau sur les autres mais ce n'est pas évidemment à assumer... sans parler du fait que ce n'est pas toujours très flatteur. Mais finalement, ce petit short est plutôt bien taillé et il souligne joliment la taille. Avec une chouette paire de collants et des bottines à talons, je pense que je devrais l'user cet hiver !

Time for an outfit post just like I told you !
These shorts are part of my latest purchases during the summer sales. I wasn't really sure of why I bought it : high-waisted pants are hot on other girls but it's not that easy to wear... and it doesn't always look good on you. But this one is actually well made and is perfect to show off your waist. I think I'm gonna wear it a lot this winter, paired with pretty tights and high heeled boots !

Pour ce qui est de ma rentrée, ma fac a encore fait fort cette année : les cours ont donc repris hier et je n'ai toujours pas mon emploi du temps complet. Quant au cours auquel j'ai pu assister, il m'a traumatisée. J'ai 2 profs d'anglais cette année, et l'une est une control freak ultra exigeante qui nous demande un exposé avec des infos quasi impossibles à obtenir (sans se griller auprès des entreprises qu'on va interroger).
Je sens que cette année va être encore très drôle (ou pas). Je suppose qu'il va falloir faire des stocks d'heure de sommeil.

What about school ? Well my university did things great this year : school started back yesterday and I still don't have my full timetable. And the only I've been attending so far kind of scared me. I have 2 two different English teachers this year and one them is a super demanding control freak and she wants us to make oral presentation whose informations are almost impossible to get (unless we want to be black-listed in the companies we need to interviews).
I have a feeling this year is going to be much more fun than last year (or not). I'm just starting to store some sleep in anticipation for the upcoming weeks.

Voyages

Me voilà de retour et j'ai une montagne de choses à partager ! Je suis rentrée de vacances il y a quinze jours, et c'est le moment qu'a choisi mon ordinateur pour me lâcher. Je l'ai confié à mon père qui n'a pas réussi à le réparer, je croise les doigts pour que son copain informaticien y arrive, parce que je n'ai vraiment pas les moyens de me racheter un laptop maintenant. Et puis j'ai des tas de projets que j'aimerais pouvoir financer avant. La rentrée approchant (j'ai fait mes deux jours de pré-rentrée hier et aujourd'hui), j'ai réussi à convaincre ma mère de me prêter son laptop, me revoici donc !
Bref. J'ai donc beaucoup, beaucoup de photos à publier, que ce soit des photos de voyage, de looks ou de tous les trucs qui ont pu croiser ma route ces derniers temps. Je vais essayer de faire ça de façon organisée : les voyages par ordre d'apparition, les looks pour varier un peu, et les autres photos de temps en temps.

Here I am, back again, with a bunch of new things to share ! I came back from holidays 2 weeks ago, and my computer felt it was the perfect time to let me down. I gave it to my father who didn't manage to fix it, so I hope his informatician friend will be able to do something, because I really cannot afford a new laptop right now. And I have a lot of things I need money for. School is about to start again (I have some meetings yesterday and today), so I managed to convince my mom to lend me her own laptop, so here I am ! So I had lots and lots of pictures to display from journeys, looks or random pics. I'll try to talk about all my travelling in the right order and display some looks and random pics from time to time^^

Commençons par le début : après une semaine plus que calme chez ma grand-mère, j'ai décollé pour Dublin avec une amie. C'est parti pour les photos du 1er jour !

Let's star from the beginning : after spending a more than quiet week at my grandmother's, I flew to Dublin with a friend. So here are the photos of the first day !

Après avoir déposé nos affaires à l'auberge de jeunesse (Ashfield House, pour ceux qui seraient intéressés, et c'est très bien^^), un repas s'impose... chez Burger King, forcément ! Celui de O'Connell Street a une immence baie vitrée avec une jolie vue (je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de la prendre en photo, il y avait trop de gens devant).

After we dropped our stuff at the hostel (Ashfield House, for whose who want to visit Dublin, very cool place^^), we had to eat something... at Burger King, of course ! The O'Connell Street one has a huge picture window with a pretty view (I didn't have the chance to shoot it, there were too many people in front of it).

On s'est ensuite baladées le long de la Liffey et j'ai été contente de reconnaître plein d'endroits que j'avais déjà pris en photo il y a 4 ans.

Then we took a walk along the Liffey. I was so glad to recognize lots of places I'd been to and took picture of four years ago !

On est passées à côté d'un faux resto français (depuis quand les pizzas sont une spécialité française ?) au nom rigolo !

We walked by a fake French restaurant (since when is pizza a French speciality ?) whose name was funny ("Frère Jacques" is the French to the nursery rhyme "Brother Peter").

On a fini la soirée en traînant dans Temple Bar, le quartier qui m'avait le plus marqué et qu'on a au final le plus adoré.

We spent the rest of the night hanging around in Temple Bar's streets, the area I had the best memories of and that we loved most.

Avant de rentrer, on a pris un chocolat chaud (un VRAI chocolat chaud à 2,50 € !) en terrasse en écoutant un groupe jouer dans la rue. Génial.

Before we went back to the hostel, we had a hot chocolate (a REAL hot chocolate for only €2.5) at a table outside a café while listening to a band playing in the street. Awesome.
